Quiver Tree Forest Namibia, Southern Namibia

Usually, these large Aloe plants grow remarkably far apart among larger dolerite rock formations, but in Namibia and more specifically the Quiver Tree Forest, they grow close together to form a magical and exceptionally uncommon forest.

Visitors who want an up-close and personal tour of these magical trees will have to go through the owners and their private Quiver Tree Forest Rest Camp. You can either choose to stay within the comfortable accommodations of the camp, or you can visit on a day trip and just pay the entrance fee that includes admission to the Quiver Tree Forest and to the dolerite rock formations of the nearby Giants Playground. You are then free to hike among the Quiver Trees and take some amazing pictures. You’ll also be privy to some amazing African wildlife that is naturally drawn to the nectar of the Quiver Tree.
