Travel the historically significant Cu Chi Tunnels

With an interesting history behind every cave corridor, the hundred-of-kilometers-long network of underground tunnels stands as a testament to the outward thinking and coordination of the Vietnamese people. Built during the unrest of the 1940s by guerilla troops of North Vietnam, known as the Viet Cong, this intricate system of tunnels was used for transport, escape, as well as protection for some Vietnamese civilians looking to escape the war. Today, you can explore and experience this history while touring parts of the tunnel, including the civilian villages that were built underground.

Experience the famous Vietnamese markets; Ben Thanh or Binh Tay

Built in the 1880s, during the French occupation, Binh Tay Market offers the visitor a more authentically Vietnamese experience as this market caters mainly to the local population. This Chinatown district market is filled with fruits, vegetables, seafood, and local textiles and handicrafts.
Ben Thanh Market, located in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 1, is a colorful market that offers travelers delicious street food, locally made handicrafts, art, and souvenirs. Do note that this market tends to be busy and crowded, however, this just adds to the overall ambiance.

Cruise the waterways of the Mekong Delta

Situated along the Mekong River lays one of the most important ecosystems and districts of Vietnam. Filled with lush green fields, breathtaking sights, and floating markets, Mekong Delta is the agricultural center for Vietnam. You can find many beautiful sights in Mekong Delta such as the famous rice paddies, impressive temples and landmarks, as well as beaches and a long list of wildlife that call the Mekong River area home. Enjoy the stunning views from Saigon Skydeck

Completed in 2010, Bitexco Financial Tower is the second tallest building in Ho Chi Minh City with a height of 262 m/860 ft. It houses the Saigon Skydeck, from where you can enjoy a beautiful 360° view of the city and its surroundings. A high-speed elevator will take you to the 49th floor, where a glass observation deck offers unobstructed views of the city's top attractions and the Saigon River.
